Large Luxury SUV Sales In Canada - October 2016 YTD

Canadian sales of full-size SUVs predictably increased in October 2016 despite the market's overall 5% downturn.

Boosted by typically ultra-low-volume options, the Lexus LX570 and Mercedes-Benz G-Class, sales of flagship full-size luxury SUVs rose by 54 units in October even as Cadillac Escalade, Range Rover, Lincoln Navigator , and Mercedes-Benz GLS sales decreased.

Year-to-date, sales of every player in the field are on the rise. Add to that 48 sales of the Bentley Bentayga, the most expensive SUV on sale in Canada, and the result is a 24% leap. 

 Overall, SUV/crossover sales are up 10% this year.
