Large Car Sales In Canada - November 2016 YTD

Canadian sales of full-size cars took a 6% dive in November 2016 despite big year-over-year gains from the Dodge Charger, the top-selling full-size volume brand car in Canada this year.


The Chevrolet Impala, however, topped the category in sales last month. Sliding 15%, the Impala ended November reporting 325 Canadian sales, eight more than the two second-ranked cars: Canadian-built FCA twins.

As Buick readies the new LaCrosse we would be included to expect Canadian sales improvements. 

 Yet given the degree to which consumers are veering away from this type of vehicle – LaCrosse sales, for instance, have fallen in eight of the last 11 years – a meaningful improvement may not be in the big Buick's near future.
